How It Started
From empty courts to full runs
Fullcourt was born in Los Angeles — a city with thousands of basketball courts and millions of players, yet somehow it was still hard to find a good run. You'd drive across town to your favorite court only to find it empty, or show up to a packed gym with no way to get on.
We built Fullcourt because we believed technology could solve this. Not with algorithms or AI hype, but with a straightforward idea: show people where the games are, make it easy to join, and let the community do the rest. Basketball has always been about showing up — we just made it easier to know when and where.
What started as a way to find pickup games in LA has grown into the #1 pickup basketball app, connecting hoopers across Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Miami. We've mapped over 60,000 courts, and every day players are using Fullcourt to find their next run, discover new courts, and build their local basketball community.
